"Anzac Day"

Yesterday was Anzac Day in Australia. Similar to Veterans Day & Memorial Day. ANZAC stands for Australia & New Zealand Army Corp.. It was really a moving experience. The Australians & New Zealanders take this day very seriously. It's a coming together of Aussies & Kiwi's in remembrance to those that have fallen & those that are still serving active duty.

You will see below a man wearing fatigues that were actually those of his Grandfather's. Australians & Kiwis take this day to heart & it was so patriotic to have experienced such a moving day! Throughout the city you would see others in fatigues & wearing medals. I learned that medals on the right lapel represented descendants & medals awarded by the State & those medals on the left represented your medals of courage & honor.

"Kangaroo Valley"

Was an incredible drive through the rain forest of Sydney that feed out to lush green landscapes of rolling hills that words can't begin to describe.  The day began overcast with drizzels but as we made our way through the Valley it cleared up making these pictures depict the true beauty of my experience...

This bridge was built by convicts...

This was a cemetary out in know where....

Another pic of the cemetary...

The trees in the back look like Cyprus trees but they are actually Australian Pine Trees
